Hours & Payment

Our hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday and we can open for weekend collection or delivery on request.

We are closed on NZ Public Holidays.
Open outside of these hours by special arrangement only.

We are located at 46 Victoria Street, Carterton, Wairarapa 5713.

Pick Up and Drop Off:
Where bookings allow we can accommodate pick up of gear the afternoon before your hire and return the morning after the hire period. Check with us when you make your reservation.
We do not offer a delivery option as the hirer must sign for gear and pay at pick up.

Payment:
Payment is required as the equipment is collected. We accept cash or Internet Banking. We do not accept phone credit card transactions. An alternative is to deposit funds directly into our bank account. We can provide a GST invoice and bank details a few days in advance of your hire ( by email ) and check for the funds to clear.


Insurance:
Insurance cover is mandatory. We cover rental hire up to $8,000 of equipment with a 10% charge ( ex GST ) but beyond this, we encourage larger kits to seek insurance quotations and cover from established industry speciality brokers. 

The 10% charge is a premium and an excess of $750 + GST for each and every loss/damage still applies. 

Photo ID:
We also require photo ID such as a driver’s licence or passport.


Prices:
The prices on the web site exclude insurance and GST. Most of the equipment is offered with a discount for rental periods of 4 days or more. This will be applied automatically on booking. Rate is charged for from time out until time back. 

Rental Period:
The hire period is determined when you make your reservation with us.
Generally a day’s hire is midnight to midnight, not a floating 24 hour period.
